Hobbies & Interests

Hobbies & Interests

Some people choose to use their support to enjoy hobbies and interests at home or outside at local clubs and community centres, whilst being supported by our support living service or receiving flexible support within their own or family homes. Owning and caring for a pet, setting up a model railway, practicing boxing, caring for animals, painting and ceramics are some examples of the exciting activities that people have chosen to get involved in, with the opportunities as wide and varied as life it self. The clubs run by Network 50+ are a place where people over 50 can meet new friends and mix with others in the community. Our specialist day service also supports people with more complex support needs to try cycling, trampoline, sailing and wheelchair aerobics - all with the aim of being able to enjoy an active lifestyle.
