Making Choices / Involvement
Our most important work is being undertaken in partnership with the people that use the service.
Perhaps the most important development in learning disability services in recent times has been the increased focus and respect given to the individuality of each person.
People using our services are increasingly determining how they spend their days through developing their support plans, choosing by who and when they want to be supported. Increasingly people are now starting to use an Individual Budget or Direct Payment to take even more control over how they live their lives.
