Pet’s Corner

Pet’s Corner is based in Astley Park, the biggest municipal park in the Chorley Borough. We manage Pets Corner as a social enterprise and it is open to the public every day of the week. It is situated next to the refreshment kiosk and children play areas (one of the most vibrant areas in the park). It houses Nibbles the rabbit, Victor the huge African tortoise, crazy chipmunks and many more animals.

People are supported to learn all aspects of animal welfare and care for the wide variety of animals. People also learn many other skills whilst in Pets Corner, one of the main ones being interaction with the many visitors who stop for chat.

We host events and training activities which engage the local community making Pets Corner in Astley Park a great place to be.
