Network 50 +

Network 50 +

Network 50+ (Our integrated retirement service) offers a range of community based activities in partnership with others which are open to older people in the wider community. This gives everyone the opportunity to make new friends and socialise with a wide mix of people in a safe and supportive environment. We work closely with each person to ensure they are experiencing the retirement of their choice.

Network 50+ operates through a social network of clubs across the Chorley and South Ribble Borough areas. The clubs are based on a model of Coffee mornings, lunch clubs and a full range of social, creative and educational activities each day of the week in a different venue. Activities range from Keep fit to bingo, dancing, speakers and entertainers, quizzes and much more.

Each club is represented on a monitoring committee with an agreed constitution and we promote participation and partnership at all levels of the service. An office/drop-in base is provided in order to facilitate the significant level of planning and administration required of the staff team. The base also provides information and coffee mornings for all members of the different clubs. A warm welcome is assured for all.
