Working
The government has a clear objective for more people with a learning disability to participate in employment and, wherever possible, take up paid work
To help achieve this we have made a commitment to support people in both voluntary work and, in many cases, paid employment. Our range of social enterprises together with Jobspec, our supported employment service, have been developed to provide people with progression routes through to employment or voluntary placements irrespective of their previous experience or supported needs.
The most telling information we can provide comes from the stories of people who have used this resource to help them take up paid work.
