Heaton Street Gardening Services
We are a Garden maintenance service, based close to the centre of Leyland offering a flexible service to support people to develop their skills and confidence. We work closely with Jobspec assisting people in readiness for employment
- The work is seasonal and ranges from mowing and weeding in the summer to landscaping and painting in the winter.
- People are encouraged to learn new skills such as mowing, pruning and machinery maintenance.
- Through experiential learning people gain valuable experience about real life job situations including customer service.
All members of the Heaton Street team work towards building their vocational profile. This person centred approach identifies skills gaps from which training programmes can be developed to support the individual’s progress into their chosen field of paid employment.
